Orezi Part Ways With Culbeed Music, Set To Join HKN or D’banj’s DB Records


According to reports, budding pop artiste, Orezi has part ways with his current label, Culbeed Music and is set to pitch tent 
with either Davido’s HKN or D’banj’s DB Records. Orezi is also linked with Mikel Obi’s MMM Records.

Orezi, who celebrated his birthday on Friday 29th March, with members of the HKN Gang including Davido and B Red at Bravo lounge in Lekki Lagos.


Tweets from both Davido and chairman of the label, Adewale Adeleke on Orezi’s birthday, 29th of March, suggest that there might be something in the pipeline between Orezi, a 2012 channel O music awards nominee and HKN.

“@iamdavido: Happy bday my brother @iamorezi….. got some big news comin soon!”
While, @chairmanHKN tweeted: “Happy birthday to my bro! @iamorezi real G! Some mad shit coming soon!!

Davido further hinted about signing orezi when he tweeted from his account on Monday saying: Orezi Loading.

Efforts to confirm the news was not successful as both the CEO of Culbeed Music, Kolade Ajayi (owner of Orezi’s current label) and Kamal Ajiboye, an A&R at HKN’s phones were not reachable as at press time.



In other news, Orezi is billed to release a new video for his single, What Is The Need, directed by Tosin Igho, anytime from now.
