Is This Gonna Work? Texas Preacher Wants Congregation To Tweet During Services

The heavenly connected Jim Liberatore, rector at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Houston, shares what he thinks, saying, “I just think [Twitter] is a different way for people to connect with each other, to share their faith and I think Jesus would make use of it.”

The holy man has asked his young congregation (the average age is a Christ-like 33) to use social media during — yes, during — Sunday services. Pastor Robert Jeffress agrees. “Jesus told us we need to preach the gospel to all people, and I think if he had an iPhone, he might’ve used technology in his day as well.”
