A Ram to send the message to Goodluck Jonathan

Today marks the 3rd Day of Occupy Nigeria Protest in Nigeria.  Ojota Gani Fawehinmi Park was alive this morning when protesters, activists, celebrities, Doctors, Lawyers and the general public came to the Park to show their concern about the current situation on Fuel Subsidy removal. Today’s crowd was bigger than the past two days and I was amazed by the people who came out to protest. The Protest started with an Opening prayer from a Pastor and A muslim cleric then the activity for the day started after the prayers. Celebrities who made it to The Ojota Park were  Ayo Badmus, Toyin Aimaku, Saheed Osupa, Sir Shina Peters, Femi Kuti, Azadus,, Femi Opalemo, Abisoye Fagade, Dele Taiwo, Skuki, YQ,etc. Clerics too were not left out for today’s protest. Pastor Tunde Bakare was present, The Odumakin, Save Nigeria Group and other groups.

Different messages were sent out today through Placards of so many Nigerians, not just placards but also statues representing GEJ and Obasanjo. People who carried the statutes had followers with tree branches beating the statue and a huge message written on it ” Goodluck Jonathan must go“. The Traditional people
were also at the park to demonstrate,  as part of the protest, they came with leaves and sacrifices. Every sacrifice had its own meaning from the Yorubas, Middlebelt etc. It was scary but they were also passing out a message to GEJ. Different coffins indicating Jonathan must die if……… were sighted at the protest ground. Nigerians are speaking and Jonathan must hear.
