Tinsel Stars cover the new ZM Style
The new issue of lifestyle, youth culture and events magazine, Zone Magazine/ZM Style is out. Gideon Okeke (Phillip Ade-Williams), Gbenro Ajibade Emmanuel (Soji Bankole), Damilola Adegbite (Telema Duke) and Mathilda Obaseki (Angela Dede) are the four stars from the soap on the cover of the latest edition from Zone Media. Previous issues of the magazine has had DJ Zeez, the late DaGrin, MoCheddah, Yemi Sax, Terry G, Wande Coal, etc grace the covers. But in a major first for the relatively young Media house, the four most prominent characters from the soap are profiled exclusively. Gbenro and Damilola opened up on their steamy on-screen chemistry while Gideon and Mathilda allowed us into their personas and off-screen personalities. There are exciting pictures from the photo shoots that were fun (and stressful!). Their interviews reveal quite a lot about life before Tinsel and other bits you probably haven’t read before.

The Tinsel issue comes with two different reverse covers (Zone Magazine). One of which has the sensational Wizkid on it. The sweet faced young man is driving crowds wild even beyond our shores. The girls can’t seem to get enough of him! He relays his grass to grace story and sets the records straight about his many rumoured affairs. On the second cover is the King of the Zanga himself, Durella. For those who have been wondering where he has been, he has all your questions answered. There are also interviews with Omawumi Megbele, Kunle Afolayan, Abiola Kazeem, Onome Ovwori amongst others.
Uti Nwachukwu, Denrele Edun, Kelly Hansome, Katung Aduwak and others respond explicitly in the ‘Sex Interviews’, Caleb Egwuenu enlightens us on Cervical Cancer, Blaise Aphascea pens his story from ‘Jamb to Camp’ while Habeeb Lawal, who usually worships the ground Nollywood stumbles upon doesn’t have choice words this time. Tosyn Bucknor, Wana Udobang and Oge are among the on-air personalities featured alongside the DJs from their respective radio stations.
All the above is just a tip of the iceberg. There are other interesting features, interviews, campus events & news and profiles within the 100 pages of the Tinsel edition. And it’s selling for just Five hundred naira (N500)! Can you believe that?!
