Four Big Brother housemates -TBoss, Bally, Marvis and Debie-Rise- were up for eviction last week, but Bally eventually fell out of favour.
But then, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu during the Sunday’s live eviction show, revealed the four of them received a cumulative 11 million votes.
Each of the votes costs N30 per attempt. Although millions of Africans across the continent tune into the show on a daily basis, only Nigerians are allowed to vote.
How the nominated housemates fared
TBoss- 26.49%
Debie-Rise – 25.36%
Marvis – 24.40%
Bally – 23.76%
After receiving the lowest number of votes, Bobai Bally Balat became the eleventh housemate to be evicted from the show.
Only last week, he had received the highest number of votes from the public, with 30.24% of the total votes cast.
Following his eviction, it was announced that no other housemate will be sent home until the end of the show.
Efe, Bisola, Marvis, TBoss and Debie-Rise are the five finalists.
The eventual winner will get a prize money of N25 million and an automobile.
The ongoing show is regarded as the most popular Big Brother competition to ever air on Nigerian television – owing to the high level of engagement, voting and followership.
