Adele was the big winner during the last night BBC Music Awards event, picking up ‘Song Of The Year’ for ‘Hello’ before snatching Album Of The Year for ’25’.
In her words from Los Angeles: “I’m so sorry I’m not there. It’s been a long year on the road and this makes me feel a little less homesick.”
Robbie Williams accepted the best album prize on Adele’s behalf, saying: “It’s an honour to accept this award on your behalf. It’s an amazing album, and you’re an incredibly deserving winner. You’re also an amazing mum. The hardest working mum in showbusiness. Congratulations Adele.”
