Organizers of The Outstanding Young Achievers (OYA) AWARDS have released the portal for nominations into various categories of the awards events set to hold in November, 2016.
The Outstanding Young Achievers (OYA) Awards is a platform for celebrating Young Nigerian Achievers in various fields of endeavors particularly areas of social and artistic interests. The OYA awards offers a unique and insightful perspective on young Nigerian achievers and creative talents (entrepreneurs, artistes etc.) and provides inspirational discernment for aspiring and upcoming young ones
The OYA AWARDS offers young Nigerians the opportunity to experience, review and celebrate the lives, stories and work ethics of successful Young Nigerians while exchanging information, ideas, opportunities and solutions to important issues of concern to their demography and the Nation. It offers individual participants, nominees and the youth public, an opportunity to expand personal and business networks, and thus obtain keen awareness of requisite ingredients for success in different industries through acquisition and improved skills and knowledge.
The maiden edition of The OYA AWARDS which held in July 2015 in Ile-Ife, Osun State received rave acclaim and inspired a nationwide approach to celebrating the important things to young people and what they aspire to. At the 2015 edition of the awards distinguished individuals and renowned personalities were also honoured. They include: Yoruba actor, Muyideen Oladapo (Lala), Chude Jideonwo, Debola Williams of Red Media; CEO Glory Suites, Mr Tomi Orioke and Tribe Nation CEO, Anita Edwardo for their contributions towards inspiring, motivating and empowering the younger generation and also serving as a role model to thousands of youth across the country.

Nominations are open to entrepreneurs and innovators under the age of 30 and will be coming to an end on September 15 after which successful candidates will go through a voting process in the build up to the main event in November.
