Nigeria’s Senate President, Bukola Saraki will see his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal recommence on March 11. Bukola’s Saraki’s application to have the CCT hearing stopped was dismissed, you can read about it here.
Following the ruling, the trial was fixed for March 10. However, The Chairman of the CCT, Danladi Yakubu Umar accepted an application by Saraki’s counsel to shift the hearing to March 11 because of some “urgent commitments in other courts on the 10th”
Bukola Saraki is facing trial on 13 charges brought against him for false declaration of assets and graft by the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
