Coming from a viral cover of One Direction’s “Story Of My Life” to the centre of attention at a sold out Eko Convention Centre in the space of just over 12 months, Adekunle Gold has had the sort of year most upcoming musicians can only dream of.
On Sunday 27 December at the Eko Hotels & Suites, the YBNL artist brought his A game to the stage, performing his three recognized singles “Sade”, “Orente” and “Pick Up” with a live band to the obvious delight of the audience. More impressive was the fact that he maintained his impeccable vocal delivery throughout wavering once.
If there was anyone who still doubted his talent, #OLIC2 certainly cleared those doubts. Adekunle Gold is a superstar.
