The Kaduna chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Senator Shehu Sani.
Shehu Sani is a senator representing the Kaduna Central Senatorial zone.
His 11 month suspension is as a result of his constant criticism of the Kaduna state governor, Mallam Nasir El Rufai.
In a statement by the Kaduna APC, Senator Shehu Sani “violate the rules of engagement of the party, factionalizing the party, and engaging in anti-party activities by criticizing the policies of Governor Nasir El-Rufai.”
Hardly a week passes by that his group will not be on air criticizing and challenging the enduring legacies of Mallam Nasir ElRufai, that his statement on national issues is not in conformity with that of the state government and government of Kaduna State,”
It is unclear what actions Senator Sani will take to appeal the suspension.
