The British beauty stars as Moneypenny in the latest 007 blockbuster film “Spectre” opposite Daniel Craig.
Her first appeared in the recreated role of Eve Moneyponey was in the 2012 blockbuster hit “Skyfall.”
“I think what makes Bond special and part of the reason that people love it so much,” Harris said, “is because each Bond movie keeps the traditional elements — but then it constantly modernizes itself and reflects the changes in society.”
Inside December’s Essence issue the 39-year-old actress talks about growing up poor in North London’s Finsbury Park with her teenage mother. She tells how she began acting at the young age of 9 by booking TV roles after enrolling in the Anna Schere Theater School.
In 2002 the British-born actress starred in Danny Boyle’s “28 Days Later,” which was her breakout role. She also starred in the films “Miami Vice” and “Street Kings.”
