At about 11am this morning, Pro-Biafra demonstrators were seen on the Niger bridge. For those that don’t know, the Niger Bridge links Onitsha and Asaba in the Eastern part of Nigeria.
According to our source, the demonstrators were seen chanting, “we are Biafra, fighting in the name of Jesus, we shall conquer”. Apparently, they couldn’t cross over to the other side – Asaba – because they were blocked by Military men and other officers from Asaba.
The protests is currently ongoing. Stay tuned for more updates!!!
