A brace from midfielder Phillipe Coutinho condemned Chelsea to their sixth defeat in the Barclays Premier League. Although Chelsea took the lead early through a Ramires header then seemed to go to sleep almost immediately and paid dearly for it.
Phillipe Coutinho scored on the brink of half time and added another in the second half before Christian Benteke added a third.
Mourinho’s side have now suffered three defeats on the trot and even the most ardent Chelsea fans have to admit that their head coach is losing the plot. Mourinho was once again laughing at the officials decisions and it appear that he may well be on his way to laughing himself out of a job.
It is perhaps telling that a Jurgen Klopp still trying to adapt to a new style under a new coach still managed to beat Chelsea. Liverpool have found it difficult to score goals lately but they had no such problems at Stamford Bridge today.
Is it time to wish Jose Mourinho goodbye? Or shall we wait for one more loss?
