Manchester City as well as Manchester United will be looking to avoid upsets as they pursue progress in the Capital One cup.

Manchester United seem to have the easier task as they face Middlesbrough, but a 4-0 loss to MK Dons is more than likely to rule out complacency and any thought that the match will be a walkover. Manchester City face Crystal Palace, a team that has become a powerhouse under manager Alan Pardew.
Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheanacho will be looking to get his first start this season for Manchester City and possibly impress the manager enough to put him ahead of Wilfried Bony in the pecking order.
