The Federal Government of Nigeria has filed fresh charges against the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.
Dasuki is standing trial for alleged illegal possession of fire arms and as his trial resumed yesterday, the Federal government added a charge of money laundering.
The counsel to the Federal Government, Shuaib Labaran, also prayed the court his request of a secret trial as well as hiding the identity of DSS witnesses.
Counsel to the accused, Joseph Daudu (SAN), opposed the application for a secret trial, denouncing a secret trial as undemocratic.
The presiding Judge, Justice Adeniyi Ademola has fixed Wednesday, October 28, 2015 as the date for the ruling.
