The world is changing so fast that traditional print media has been left to play catch up. It is recognition of these challenges that First Bank took the bold step of bridging the gap by bringing experts to discuss this change in global trend.
The Strategic workshop on online and tabloid was a first of its kind organised by First Bank PLC and it took place between July 13th to July 18th 2015 Double tree by Hilton hotel Docklands.
The week long workshop boasted bright mins like the Business Coach and Trained, Asari St-Hill who discussed at length strategies used by tabloids as well as business strategies for online tabloids. He drew examples from papers such a This Day style as well as TW and Genevieve Magazine.
He facilitated intellectual discussions on some of the challenges faced by online publishers in Nigeria.
Sebastian Paszek, the founder of SPOT STUDIO, was also on hand to facilitate a session on online publishing where he talked about the goals of online publishing as well as increasing client base.
The workshop was informative, challenging and produced cutting edge ideas as well as a global experience for Nigerian online media practitioners.
It is worth mentioning that each participant was awarded with a plaque and we also took a group picture with our facilitator and the organizers from First Bank Nigeria.
