Tayo Faniran, runner up in the 2014 edition of Big Brother Africa, is joining the cast of Tinsel. He temporarily replaces Gbenro Ajibade in playing the role of Soji.
A major and exciting change is coming to the cast of Tinsel, Africa’s most successful day time soap opera. From the 17th of August, 2015, Big Brother Africa star, Tayo Faniran, will be playing the role of Soji, temporarily replacing Gbenro Ajibade.
This temporary change comes as Gbenro is away on honeymoon.
A man of many parts, Tayo, who will be playing Soji for a few months, is an accomplished model, fashion designer and creative artist. Following a successful stint at the 2014 edition of Big Brother Africa where he emerged as the runner up, the 1.93m tall model from Nigeria has gone on to successfully pursue other interests including music, acting and television hosting.
Viewers should tune in to Tinsel on weekdays at 20:30 CAT on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151) to catch all the drama, intrigue, romance, deception and betrayal that the series brings to their screens.
