Villains don’t get any more lovable than Russian President Vladmir Putin. Of course what would this story be without mentioning his archival Barrack Obama.
If anything, you’d have to give Vladmir Putin props for bossing Barrack Obama around for the better part of the year. Unafraid to butt heads with the leader of the free world, Forbes magazine has named Vladmir Putin the most powerful man in the world for the third year running.
“Putin continues to prove he’s one of the few men in the world powerful enough to do what he wants — and get away with it,” The magazine’s editors said, no doubt referring to Ukraine, Syria and the thousand and one situations in the past one year that Vladmir Putin has shown that he will so whatever he pleases and no one will stop him.
Other influential leaders who make the top five cut are, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, President Obama, Pope Francis and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
