NEMA has confirmed the death toll to be 19 in an attack which is assumed to be the responsibilty of the group Boko Haram.
Despite the government’s continued commitment to end the insurgency, Boko Haram fighters seem to be stronger than ever with their hit and run attack claiming hundreds of lives.
It is not a problem peculiar to Nigeria, its neighbors Cameroon and Chad are feeling the brunt and have agreed on a regional force to end terrorism.
