Nollywood producer Seun Egbegbe, who was recently arrested by the police for attempting to steal some phones from a seller based at Computer Village in Lagos, had been granted bail by a Magistrate Court sitting in Ikeja.
The magistrate admitted the accused on bail, with two sureties who have N2 million in their account, and property in Ikeja area of Lagos.
He pleaded not guilty.
It was unclear if he managed to perfect his bail conditions.
The case had been adjourned to February 8, 2017.
Seun Egbegbe was in the news two days ago when he was allegedly apprehended for stealing iPhones from a shop at Computer Village, Ikeja. Although Seun Egbegbe’s camp has denied the story as they revealed it was for blackmail.
He was arrested and detained for two days until the time of his arraignment.
