The University of Lagos today announced it’s decision to increase the cut off mark for its post UTME exercise to 250. This goes against the cut off mark of 180 pegged by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
It is unclear as to why the University reached this decision, but parents as well as prospective students are coming together just outside the University gate to register their disapproval of the new development.
The University of Lagos announced the sale of Post UTME forms just a few days ago and this development has taken many by surprise.
The main gate of the University campus has been shut by authorities.
UNILAG did not peg cut-off at 250, it is a new JAMB policy in which they forward only names of candidates that are eligible in UNILAG while others are forwarded to other Universities with fewer applicants.This policy is meant to help the candidates
