We all know the Nigerian market is different from the American market. Both markets were reviewed and also Jesse talked about Disney Park as one of his case studies during his presentation. What works for us in Nigeria is different from the outside market. Now the question is, Are press releases meant to be paid for? Should they be considered as ‘Sponsored posts’ or they should be re-created? Some of the guests at the event admitted that Press releases sent by the agencies should be paid for because they are promoting their client’s work through PR and that should be paid for because it is considered as Advertisement.
