His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu exchange greetings on the Archbishop’s arrival at Kangra Airport at the start of a seven day visit to collaborate on a book on Joy in Dharamsala, HP, India on April 18, 2015.
According to the Tibet Sun, The Archbishop was met at the Gaggal Airport by the Dalai Lama who was accompanied by Sikyong Lobsang Sangay. Tutu commented that he is really so thrilled to be with his dear close friend His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Tutu has told reporters he has visited to simply sit together with the Dalai Lama and enjoy their friendship while discussing joy.
The two well known advocates of peace and non-violence will be collaborating on a book which is about joy. Tutu has said that even though things and people have tried to keep the two friends apart, the love that they share for each other and the goodness of the universe of god has ensured that they would meet.
