Nollywood has always being known to stand up for one of their own at every turn and this was displayed as actress, producer and director Omoni Oboli premiered her movie ‘Being Mrs Elliott’, at Silverbird Galleria on Saturday August 30th, 2014 .
The producer and director of the movie Omoni Oboli wore a floor-length white embellished dress and looked stunning at the event.
The movie premiere which started with a red carpet had celebrities like Desmond Elliot, Ayo Makun (AY), Halima Abubakar, Seun Akindele, Daniel .k. Daniel, Belinda Effah, Slyvia Oluchy, O. C. Ukeje, Linda Ejiofor, Peggy Ovire, Tosyn Bucknor, Susan Peters, Toyin Aihmaku-Johnson, Niyi Johnson, Nnamdi Oboli, Kene Mkparu, and other media bigwigs.
‘Being Mrs Elliott’, is the story of a successfully married woman, who was torn between two worlds after a life changing incident. She found out that the best life has to offer are not things but moments.
Being Mrs Elliott, which opened the Nollywood Week Film Festival in Paris two months ago and got 11 nominations at the Nollywood and African Film Critics’ Awards (NAFCA) in California, USA was screened at the Presidential Villa penultimate week.
