The Nigerian Army has reportedly killed twenty Boko Haram suspects in Borno state today at the Dakwa-Maiduguri road.
The Acting Director, Army Public Relations confirmed this development today; “Five vehicles, heavily laden with Improvised Explosives Devices, about to be unleashed on the society, four motorcycles, one Toyota Hilux, mounted with Anti-Aircraft Guns, one Anti-Aircraft Gun and one General Purpose Machine Gun, three extra Barrels of Anti-Aircraft Gun, a box of Anti-Aircraft Gun Ammunition, 3 SIM Cards and a damaged AK-47 Rifle were recovered from the insurgents.”
The troops also reportedly destroyed the camp of terrorists at the Faljari village. This comes as rare good news in a fight against Boko haram terrorists in which the Army seems to be overwhelmed.
