The shooting of Samuel Dubose by a former Cincinnati Police officer named Ray Tensing continues to garner critical attention.
A body showed Officer Tensing stopping Samuel Dubose at a traffic stop, and with nothing to suggest aggression or violence on Mr. Dubose’s part, Tensing shot the unarmed man.
Ray Tensing has been indicted on Wednesday in what the prosecutor called “a senseless, asinine shooting” . Ray Tensing entered a plea of “Not guilty” yesterday to charges of murder and voluntary manslaughter.
25 Ray Tensing, who has already been fired, faces a sentence of life imprisonment if he is found guilty. Tensing’s lawyers claim he feared for his life as Mr. Dubose pulled away after being stopped.
