With the UK spoilt for choice witnessing some of the biggest AFROBEATS concerts in 2016 from Wande coal , Patoranking and Kiss Daniels glorious night to the hugely successful return of Burnaboy, the exhilarating headline shows by other superstars Shatta wale, Sarkodie, R2bees, Mr Eazi and the YBNL crew , it was impossible to find a night cable of topping that list above but BOY was I wrong .
Previously selling out the last three “Night with the compozers ” over the last three years , Nana , Charlie , Stephen and David under the management and direction of Brian have slowly become the go to live band backing up the best from Africa and beyond .
Playing for the likes of superstars Wizkid ,Fuse Odg ,Davido, wande coal , patoranking , R2bees , Sarkodie to name a few , the guys have taken live music and stage performance/shows to a place never before experienced . Playing everything on the night from the biggest hip hop tracks , R’n’b tunes , dancehall bangers , Grime chartoppers to ofcourse AFROBEATS , the guys ensure there is something for every single member of the audience and take more risks by playing old classics from the likes of Marvin Gaye , Whitney Houston , Tupac Shakur , Aliyah and Biggie Smalls .
The compozers have continuously pulled a magic trick only ever witnessed at their shows making the crowd go into a frenzy barking out lyrics to each song being played making each audience member an artist in their own right with the band keeping them in their zone .
The night also saw the ringing endorsement of AFROBEATS music made in the UK with well recieved guest performances. From the likes of Eugy , Kwamz and Flava , YFS and the recently
released fan favourite Sonaman.
Finishing off the exceptional night of entertainment with the Afrobeats set , the compozers turned a concert into a 3hour rave successfully cementing themselves at the top my list of the biggest
shows in the UK in 2016 putting themselves firmly in the conversation of not just a leading live band but a hugely talented instrumentalist quartet worthy of headlining at any venue .
Tonight it was the Shepherd’s Bush empire but in the not to distant future it WILL be the Hammersmith Apollo . ” MY NIGHT” WITH THE COMPOZERS 4 IS SURELY A NIGHT TO REMEMBER.
