Big talking and controversial Republican Donald Trump has been knocked off the top of the polls as he seeks to capture the capture the Republican Presidential ticket.
His closest opponent appears to be retired Neurosurgeon, Dr. Ben Carson. In a Republican campaign which has been made famous more for its gaffes than substance.
Dr. Ben Carson has taken a narrow lead in a recently conducted New York Times/CBS News Polls to finally displace Donald Trump who has led the polls in the past four months.
The other Republican candidates, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush and Carly Fiorina are some way behind in the polls. The poll of 575 voters shows Dr. Carson with 26% support, with a 4% margin over his closest rival, Donald Trump.
