The terrorist organisation, Al Shabaab attacked a hotel in Somalia today with 13 people feared dead. This is the second attack on the hotel in Mogadishu, coming just one day after security concerns over the visit of President Obama to Somalia’s neighbor, Kenya.
A suicide vehicle reportedly drove up to the gate and detonated an explosive which damaged the gate as well as parts of the hotel building itself.
Al Shabaab has claimed responsibility for today’s attack. The hotel is where the Chinese as well as Qatari embassies are housed.
