Ice Prince, born Panshak Henry Zamani, celebrates his 28th birthday today and it’s nothing but LOVE* from our team at Olorisupergal.com. Ice is our Super Star any day, it doesn’t matter if he’s an Aboki or the Aboki Remix crooner, we love him regardless. And though he has that typical Rapper braggadocio, we still love him. He doesn’t exactly give us the Greatest* wordplays or the deepest punch lines but we love what he does, he gives us More in forms of awesome performances and commercial viability.
Since 2009 and the Hennessy Artistry, Ice has had the Fans screaming Gimme Dat, the people can kill for his vibes, whether he is on something fiery like Somebody Wants To Die* and Fcuk You*, or on something catchy and radio-ready like Oleku. He is a superstar. If we want we could call his brand of sparkle the Super Sun* and we won’t be wrong cuz he is VIP.
If we are to borrow MI’s line, Ice is a beast and a monster, a renowned music asset and everything in between. We would go on to call him that mega star n*gga, but it’s uncouth writing with the N Word. It’s rather Safe* to call him a success, cuz right now he’s Number One* in mainstream rap down here, Undisputed*. He could be really lame sometimes though, but yea we love him still, we follow him, something like what Juju induces, and we are unapologetic.
And I Swear no matter the list anybody draws up today about Nigeria’s Best Rappers/ MCs or whatever; the unmistakable thing is that Ice Prince’s Oleku is greater than many a rapper’s entire oeuvre in this Industry. Whilst you ruminate on that, Can I Talk some more? Yes, I can. We know this feels a bit like some encomium for Mr. Panshak, but hey it’s his day, allow us do a little something for him With A Pen*. Will you? Thank You*.
